Results

At the completion of the SCI2MARKET project, the planned objectives have been successfully achieved.
In 2024, the workshops organised involved more than 190 participants (47 from companies, 81 from universities and 60 from technological centres, including AIMPLAS), which made it possible to identify 39 challenges and generate 90 project proposals, demonstrating a high capacity for mobilisation and co-creation within the Valencian Innovation System.
In 2025, the AIMPLAS Challenge Forum, held on 18, 19 and 20 June at AIMPLAS, brought together 9 international experts and 139 participants from companies, universities, technological centres and other entities. Together with the centre’s experts and technicians, the main trends and challenges of the plastics sector were analysed and concrete solutions were defined, aligned with market needs. The programme included keynote presentations and 43 B2B meetings.
As a result of the actions carried out, by the end of the project 18 R&D&I proposals had already been submitted to public funding calls, and work continues on new initiatives currently under evaluation and refinement.
